This week, preschoolers at Goddard School of Medina learned about community service — and chose to show up for their firefighters.
They created cards and artwork for West Suburban Fire District and delivered them in person. We surprised them by picking them up, and they made our entire day.
These drawings now ride with us as a reminder: community support goes both ways.
Thank you to the teachers, families, and little artists who reminded us that service starts early — and gratitude goes a long way.
