The West Suburban Fire District (formerly known as the Loretto & Hamel Fire Departments) is currently made up of members who proudly serve the Communities of Loretto, Medina, Independence, Corcoran, and Greenfield.

We are a paid on-call department with all training and events paid along with a retirement pension for years of service on the department.

This is a rewarding on-call public safety opportunity, and we would like you to join us!

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license
  • Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be within a 13-minute drive from the station
Our hiring process consists of a background check, an oral interview, a physical evaluation, and a psychological assessment.
