The West Suburban Fire District (formerly the Loretto and Hamel Fire Departments and now including Maple Plain) is made up of members who proudly serve the communities of Loretto, Hamel, Maple Plain, Medina, Independence, Corcoran, and Greenfield.

We are a paid on-call department with all training and events paid along with a retirement pension for years of service on the department.

Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license
Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
Be within a 13-minute drive from the station

Our hiring process consists of a background check, an oral interview, a physical evaluation, and a psychological assessment.
