Skid Steer Rescue

West Suburban Fire recently responded to a skid steer that had gone off the edge of a creek, leaving the operator trapped and partially submerged in mud, unable to free himself.
Crews worked quickly as a team- rigging chains, coordinating with a tow service, and carefully extracting both the operator and the machine.
Chief Leuer stated, “Firefighters worked quickly and efficiently to successfully extract the operator of the skid steer. The training for large equipment pays dividends on incidents like this.”
Glad everyone involved is safe.
