West Suburban Fire District visited the Goddard School today to talk fire safety with some of our youngest community members.
We covered the basics that every kid (and every family) should know:
- If there’s a fire and you’re out of the house, stay out
- Never hide from a firefighter — they are there to help you
- Have a home escape plan and practice it
- Know your family meeting place in an emergency
